Plum Tree Farm

Young Adult Available- Peyton is available to a pet/companion home. Peyton has normal health clearances-hips, elbows and eyes. Peyton is a very happy, sweet, smart, athletic and energetic girl who would love a fun, active, dog experienced family to keep her busy and to call her own. She gets along with other dogs. She is bouncy so probably best in a home without small children. She would make a good agility or obedience prospect as she is very smart and would love to learn new things. Please see her page for photos.

We typically have 1-2 well planned litters per year. Our goal is quality, not quantity. Our breedings are well researched to produce puppies that are of the correct type and structure as well as healthy and happy Labradors. We do breed for ourselves first so that we are able move our breeding program forward. Our puppies are raised with great detail to giving them the proper nutrition, medical care and social skills they need so that they become fabulous, healthy members of the family.  Please contact us and we will be happy to share breed information and give you information about our breeding plans as well as specific information about each of our dogs.We also want to know as much about you as you want to know about us and your future companion. We will accept deposits only from those we have spoken with, and only when all parties feel that a Lochbuie Labrador puppy will be a good fit for that family. Once a family is approved and a deposit has been accepted, puppies can be picked in order of the deposits and only after the breeder has evaluated the litter and made her pick(s) at 6-8 weeks of age. All puppies are sold on AKC limited registration. We do not ship puppies. We do not sell puppies over the internet. Please call, so that we can begin to get to know one another. 770-317-0352.

Occasionally, I may have an older puppy or young adult available for the right home. Reasons for placement can range from lack of correct show attitude or conformation for showing, to the failure to meet the stringent health certifications needed for breeding.
None of these reasons keep these dogs from being wonderful family companions. They are a wonderful alternative for families whose lifestyles are not suitable for a younger puppy.

People often ask why there is such a difference in the price range of Labrador puppies. The following are links to pages written by our peers and we think they say it so well!
